Peer-reviewed articles have been reviewed and approved for publication by a panel of experts in the field of study. Most databases provide a way to search only peer-reviewed items.
In CU Search, you can filter your results to only show peer-reviewed articles from academic journals. First, choose your keywords and press "Search." When you reach the results page, you can filter out anything that is not peer-reviewed using the option under "Refine Results" in the left column.
